Program Specialist Interprofessional Education
Amy is a Program Specialist with the Office of Interprofessional Education and the Administrative Research Coordinator for STEPS, Simulation Training and Education for Patient Safety at West Virginia University. She coordinates all programing for eleven disciplines within the Health Sciences Center for Interprofessional Education and is currently supporting several collaborations within her roles. Amy also works as the Administrative Research Coordinator for the simulation center. She manages the research committee meetings, proposals and research project activities in the center. She reviews standardized patients and learner activities for continuous quality improvement. She has an Associates in Applied Science in Medical Assisting and is experienced in working in trauma, general surgery, and surgical oncology and recently graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Project Management. Additionally, Amy has a background in quality and regulatory from ten years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
